Yearly Physical Examination & Pet Vaccinations:
We recommend annual physical exams for your pet to ensure that your pet is receiving the best medical attention and is on schedule for appropriate vaccinations customized to protect your pet's optimal health. We believe that preventive care, early detection of disease, and wellness medicine are critical to your pet's long life.
Good oral health for your pet can result in a longer and more comfortable life! During our yearly physical examination, we will examine your pet’s mouth for any dental issues. At our hospital, we offer a myriad of dental services, including periodontal exams, teeth cleaning and polishing, dental x-rays, tooth extractions and fracture repair. Feel free to call us at any time to set up an appointment.
Diagnostic and Lab Procedures:
We provide in-house and referral lab services, and usually, provide results within 24 hours. Grants Mill Animal Hospital also offers ultrasonography, electrocardiography, and digital radiology to assist in diagnosing your pet's health problems.
We offer emergency services during normal working hours, including weekends. If your pet is in need of emergency care after hours, call our main line and we will provide you instructions on how to handle the situation and the closest emergency clinics in the area.
With our advanced anesthetic capabilities and surgical equipment, you can be assured of the safety and comfort for your pet during surgery at our hospital. We perform routine spay and neuter procedures, emergency surgical procedures, orthopedic surgery, and soft tissue surgery. Please contact us for a list of additional surgical procedures that we offer.
While your pet is in our animal hospital, we will provide everything needed to get them to better health as quickly as possible. Our trained staff will communicate directly with you about your pet's progress. We encourage you to come see your pet during our visiting hours.
Our staff is experienced with basic training as well as a more advanced behavioral problem in cats and dogs. We can also offer referrals to many animal trainers and behaviorists in town that can work with you at home to continue on the path to a better behaved and happier pet.
We carry a full line of products for your pet including prescription medications, prescription diets, medicated shampoo and ear cleaners, flea and tick control, and heartworm medication.
Cash, check and most major credit cards accepted for payment. Payment expected at the time of services rendered unless prior arrangements are made.
Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, Saturdays 8am-noon, and Sundays 4pm-6pm.
